Pacific Hemostasis Glycine Buffered Saline, 2 x 100 mL


When time is of the essence, the Pacific Hemostasis FDP and D-Dimer Assays are easy-to-use and provide fast and accurate results when diagnosing disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

The Fibrin Degradation assay is a fast, easy-to-use latex agglutination assay for use in measuring fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) in serum and urine. D-Dimer is used for the determination of D-Dimer containing fibrin degradation products in plasma or serum. Both products are used in the diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). They are also used to diagnose certain pregnancy disorders and myocardial infarction. Complete FDP and D-Dimer assay kits and individual components are available.

D-Dimer:
D-Dimer controls are packaged in the kit
Assay sensitivity of 250ng/mL
No cross reactivity with Fibrinogen
No cross reactivity with Fibrinogen des-AA-fibrinogen
Negative predictive value of 94% with suspected DVT

FDP:
Latex sensitivity of 1 ug/mL of FDP
No pretreatment of heparin specimen
No repeat testing due to false positives from heparin interference

For use on manual, semi-automated, and automated coagulation analyzers.
