This means that Diazyme’s enzymatic homocysteine reagent has been evaluated and found to meet the exacting quality and performance standards of Roche Diagnostics. As the only authorized Roche channel partner, Diazyme is the single source for enzymatic homocysteine reagents in genuine Roche Cobas Integra, cobas c systems, and Modular P barcoded cartridges. Accurate and reliable, the assay features excellent correlation with HPLC and Immunochemical methods with a linear range of 2.8 - 50 mmole/L and intra and inter %CV values of < 5%. The assay has no significant interference from lipemic and hemolytic substances. More significantly, the assay is not interfered by the endogenous cystathionine and therefore can be used with confidence in patients with renal disease. Stable for 14 months from date of manufacture when stored @ 2° - 8° C.

Intended use

The Diazyme Homocysteine Enzymatic Assay kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of total L-homocysteine in serum or plasma. The assay can assist in diagnosis and treatment of patients suspected of having hyperhomocysteinemia and homocystinuria.
