Cytospin 3 centrifuge from Shandon is useful in application areas such as hematology/oncology, cytology/histology, rheumatology, virology/serology, microbiology, and immunochemistry. This instrument is considered to be the first to employ centrifugal force to isolate and set down a monolayer of cells on slides, at the same time preserving the cellular integrity.

With the use of this device, you can achieve consistent and accurate results. The centrifuge can process a maximum of 24 samples in 12 chambers. Shandon Cytospin 3 can accommodate a wide range of samples with the use of Cytofunnel disposable sample chambers, available in size options ranging from 0.1ml to 6ml. The device shows an acceleration speed range of (200-2,000 rpm). For providing better performance, the instrument incorporates nine program selection capability and automatic specimen protection features.
