IL 943, from Instrumentation Laboratory, is a flame photometer, which is useful for measuring potassium, sodium, and lithium concentration in serum, plasma, and aqueous solutions.
The Cesium internal standard lets the user perform determinations of Lithium, without any changeover to a Potassium standard. With the support of on-board microcomputer, calibration, zeroing, dilution, sampling, aspiration, printing and waste disposal can be done in a fully automated way. Operator guidance; data, fuel and air monitoring; and instrument diagnostics are other computer controlled functions available with this device. The analyzer can also run STATs tests (results can be obtained in 40 seconds) and is capable of performing tests on nearly 100 samples per hour.
